I promise this is on topic....

I went to a passion party last night. For those of you who may not know, it's an 'adult' party showcasing lotions, creams, toys, etc. The consultant passed around a book called 'tickle his pickle' with ways to....well, you can figure it out (I'm trying to keep this at least 'pg' rated here). I flipped through the book of descriptions and diagrams and there was information on uncircumcised penises. It said that 60% of men in the US are circ'd, compared to 15% (I think) worldwide- all men are born with a foreskin, some get to keep them, be gentle if your partner has one, as the head of the penis is more sensitive b/c it's not exposed to clothes, etc., all the time.

I didn't get to really read in depth, but that's what I saw at a glance- seemed to put at least a neutral, if not a positive spin, on intactness. I thought it was great and wanted to share.

The intact penis is significantly more sensitive and it becomes very uncomfortable if it is aggressively stimulated just as if a clitoris is aggressively stimulated, it becomes very uncomfortable.

It's tough to describe it without getting down in the gutter! :

At least they mentioned the foreskin. I went to a party for a different brand of stuff and was apalled that all of the "toys" were circed, but had weird appendages to stimulate to nerves near the vaginal openeing (yep, this thread'll get deleted now!). I wanted to stand up and scream "THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T CIRC YOUR SONS!" It was really disturbing to me. I bought nothing (not that I would have anyway), and never will buy anything from that brand.

Speaking of sex aids.....I heard somewhere that condoms "ribbed for her pleasure" were designed to mimick the ridged band on the foreskin that is lost during circumcision. Sad really, cut it off and then make a replica to make some $$$$.

Take care,
Those condoms don't work too well, either.
Just for fun, I had my dh put one of those on once. Unfortunately, it didin't do anything for me. I suspect those ribbed condoms are a pale imitation of the real thing.

I was having a look around for them myself and I found a question from an intact man about men toys. Check out what the person replying had to say:

First of all, congratulations on retaining all those nerve endings! I'm sure you have already discovered in self-exploration and
-stimulation that your foreskin is sensitive, probably at a different level than your shaft and corona.

It gets a little graphic after that, but she was VERY VERY VERY positive about the foreskin *and* she's a doctor!

I have visited Adult stores, and attended shows on sexuallity (ex: Everything To Do With Sex Show here in Toronto), and you would be surprised with the number of vibrators / dildos that are modeled after intact men. I am not talking about having a foreskin like the previous link, but if you look at some of the more realistic shaped ones (look up the Jelli ones) then many of them have what appear to be frenar band wrinkles. In comparing to the pornography that I have seen, these wrinkles are more similar to an uncut erect penis versus a circumcised erect penis. Keep that in mind next time you ‘shop’.
