SADDLE SHOES!! Do kids even still wear these? I wore them as a kid but that was quite some time a go. there were so many cute shoes with pretty coloros but nope DD (4) wanted those black and white shoes...

What an interesting kid you have!!! I haven't even thought about saddle shoes in forever. My dd is still young (not even 2) and doesn't care yet what she wears but-- hmmm. maybe you have an artist/noncomformist/fashionista on your hands!

I think it's cool you let her pick and went with it.

Go to eBay. Search for "ladies saddle shoes" there are a bunch there.

My dd picked out a pair for school this year. I was happy and surprised.

That is so cute! My sisters and I all wore them when we were little, but my middle sister loved them so much that she wore them until 4th grade or so, long after the rest of us had moved on to other footwear!
