any suggestions? DD is in a sling and we are freezing right now, can't find much to cover us both

I'm assuming she is in the cradle position. open jacket & scarf for you & blanket around the sling (just make sure her face isn't covered) for her

shes upright, we never made cradle work for us.

I'm hoping one day we'll figure out how to nurse like this, we can't nurse cradle and cover her head (her head is too long)

I wear DH's coat and zip it up over both of us.

I dressed DS2 in warm clothes and a warm fleece bunting, and wore the sling over my own coat, with one or two more fleece blankets held around the outside of the sling until we got inside.

i have a babywearing poncho that is awesome - pops right on over our heads. and you can actually make them really easily as well - i believe there are instructions on the wrapsody website.

You can make a fleece babywearing poncho easily with no sewing involved. I was more lazy than that and just grabbed a fleece throw blanket and tucked it in. XL jackets work too.

This is what I do when I walk my kiddos to school (its been in the 30s here in TX!). I just put on the sling and put on a big jacket over it.
