We're getting closer!

Had the perc testing done (no problems ... YAY!!!).

Got a FANTASTIC bid from the builder who did my brother's house. He's supposed to have for us the contract to take to the bank by Monday.

The surveyor finally came yesterday. Once he's drawn up the plat, we can get our 6 acres deeded over to us. DH took some great pictures:
