Well, the girls are 2.5 and 4 and we are co-sleeping. We just found out we're having another baby
and feel it's time to move the "big kids" to their own sleep surfaces! They will be in our room still- in bunk beds, we hope.

I want to provide a healthy mattress and am wondering if anyone has a source for organic/ latex/ healthy mattresses and semi- afoordable prices?

I know this kind of matress will be more costly, but whats the best pricing for the best?

Is there a better place to post this?

I did a lot of research and ended up buying two organic latex/cotton blend mattresses that did not require a boxspring. I bought natural wood slat beds from a place called northern naturals (online), and got the mattresses online from organicgrace.com ( she's out in CA - I think she advertises in Mothering mag.) The shipping was expensive, but the prices there were much better than here on the east coast and I saved because I didn't have to buy boxsprings.

Why are they still going to be in your room? At 2.5 and 4 I don't understand why you feel they are not old enough to have their own room.

I'm sorry you don't understand how I feel about my kids, but I'll leave it at the fact that choosing to have a family bed and when to change it to kids in another room is a personal choice. To each their own, you know?
