Mama's. I feel so blessed that I will be able to get Noah to his 1st birthday by breastfeeding. I will be starting chemo 3 days after his birthday...

I am so thrilled especially since I've first noticed my cancerous tumor when he was exactly 8mths old.

This is such a great milestone for us and I can't explain into words, how wonderful this makes me feel.

Mighty-mama.
To say that I am awestruck would be an understatement. You are an inspiration.

I have an 8 mm lump that the radiologist gives a 99% probability of being benign. I have been feeling a little sorry for myself since I am still nursing 18 month old DD and am 26 weeks pregnant and the general recommendation is against doing more invasive diagnostic measures (e.g. core biopsy) to confirm it is benign. Instead it looks like we'll be doing a followup ultrasound at 6 months when DD2 is 2 1/2 months old. Which would be a less than ideal time to find out it is something serious.

But you have put my problems in perspective and set an example for me, hopefully one I won't have to follow too closely.

God bless and good luck, ~Cath
