After much thought, prayer and discussion, we are moving in with the friends we've been staying the weekend with for the last month. It's a four and a half bedroom {counting the 'sitting area' as a bedroom since it's seperate from the living area and where we have/will be sleeping} two bath on an acre lot within the city limits, but just barely. The kids get along about as well as can be expected, ours being attatched and having been taught manners and had rules enforced with love and redirection, and hers having been used to running wild for the most part til her divorce this past march. Things have come to a head at my parents and this is the only viable option for now. Already I am feeling so much more at peace. I can be myself, love my soul mate openly, be obviously pregnant, eat what and when I want, and raise my kids the way I see fit. We do plan to move out by late fall, but right now it's an arrangement that will benefit all parties, and lower my blood pressure and aid in getting my diet and my overall health back where it should be. Plus we are a living example of how AP works and that is already starting to help our friend and her family out alot.

Prayers, good wishes, vibes and so on welcome, especially for our safety in the next few days as my parents have not taken the news of our moving out as well as one would expect....

Whoa! Ummm first of all *hugs*!! You do not NEED this stress! Parents are usually well-meaning but a bit too pushy with their own agendas. My Mom's calmed down a lot since my Dad passed. I have no idea why, she was always the domineering one all the way anyway. She used to insist that I ring her to let her know where we were on weekends in case she called and couldn't reach us "because she worries". I mean, I was in my late 30's when this was insisted upon. I've been through a lot and yeah, keeping tabs is cool but you know...overbearing isn't my speed.

Hopefully you can utilize the patience and redirection you utilize with your children toward your parents and agree to disagree and move on.

I'm so grateful your friends are so willing to let you stay and "heal" and get back to being you and having your life back..they are truly to be commended!

It's just a rough patch in life and hopefully things will heal and get better. Enjoy, Kitty
