Helping to spread the word about this class starting September 7... my boys have participated in one of the Ventura County programs for several years and we LOVE Much Ado

Feel free to pass this information along to other groups and individuals...

The second season of Much Ado About Shakespeare's West LA Program will start Tuesday, September 7, in Westchester, and run through February 18, 2011.

Much Ado offers a professional education program that brings the brilliance and fun of William Shakespeare's works to students of all ages.

Much Ado is directed and staffed by professionally trained Shakespearean actors with extensive teaching experience. Beyond learning Shakespeare, students will develop self-esteem, confidence in front of groups, creative self-expression, vocal presence, leadership qualities, respect for others, and teamwork abilities.

Much Ado works from the original text, preserving the Elizabethan English, while adapting scripts for classroom use.

Some of the plays being considered for this season include:
Twelth Night
Rome and Juliet
Macbeth

All productions include stage combat and Elizabethan dance and song.

Location:
Holy Nativity Episcopal Church
6700 West 83rd Street
Westchester 90045

Cost:
The 24-class program is $420 per student. Each class is 90 minutes.
1/2 is due by 1st class (Sep 7), balance due mid-session.

Time:

The program is charter-approved (Sky Mountain and Golden Valley).
