I am looking for a mini wet bag to carry wipes in for when we are out & about. I know I've seen them somewhere but I can't remember where.
It's easier for me to wet the wipes at home instead of carrying around a peri-bottle or wetting in a public restroom (if one is available). I have been using zip-lock baggies, but want something more colorful.
Thanks mamas, I have learned so much here. Even though I usually just lurk.

I would be worried about a wet bag wicking, but maybe there's a really great bag out there. I love Happy Tushies, but my bags will sometimes wick when they're compressed, and that's just with a damp diaper, not with wet wipes.

I use an old Huggies travel wipes container with flannel wipes. It's not colorful, but it works well with wet wipes. I stopped wetting mine, though, because I wanted to carry enough for a major mess but wasn't using them very quickly, so they would get stale smelling. I switched to dry wipes in the Huggies container and a peri bottle in the diaper bag.

Maybe some sort of makeup bag or case would be more colorful and waterproof, too?

This is what I use. I discovered it at a Tupperware party.

AAACK The link isn't working.

Go to tupperware.com. Under the 'On The Go' category there is a Sandwich Keeper. Sometimes they come out in pretty colors. I have blue, pink, purple, yellow and green.

I use a waterproof makeup bag for wet wipes. It does wick a bit around the zipper, but not enough to get anything else in the bag wet. It has a flat bottom, which is nice because it allows it to stand up.

My only problem is that I often forget about the wipes in there and they get moldy before I use them. For that reason, I often just carry dry wipes and wet them with a water bottle or in a sink. Or, I just pray that paper towels are available when I need them.

I bought a wipes wet bag at www.boobearscorner.com . So far I have only used it with disposible wipes (Others bought them for me and I figured I'd use them up) and the wipes were always dried out by the time I went to use them. Not sure if wet cloth wipes would dry out that fast though.
