Between 6 and 7 years old. Some kids earlier and some kids later. All of my DS's friends lost theirs around 5-6. DS is almost 6.5 and still doesn't have a lose tooth yet.

I posted last week about my 4.5 yo DD, worried that her first tooth was falling out prematurely (there was candy involved). Turned out it was genuinely ready to come out...the new too th is already poking through the gumline...

wow
I thought it would be about age 5 or 6. Looks like I maybe talking to the tooth fairy sooner then I thought

My ds just lost his first tooth last week and he will be 6 in July. He has a second one that is wiggly now.

My ds lost his first one at 5. I was NOT ready for that, it seemed like they had just come IN.
At 6, almost seven, he's lost a whole bunch, and has currently got three big gaping holes in his mouth, with another wiggly one. He looks like a jack o' lantern.

I didn't lose my first tooth til I was seven, in the second grade, so I was surprised ds was so early.

DD lost her first tooth recently; she was five years and one week old. It was, like, THE most exciting thing EVER. I totally wasn't ready for it. In fact, I kind of freaked out to my friends for a couple of days while I was waiting for it to fall out. She has a second one that's loose but hanging on pretty strong. I think she got her teeth early; I've heard there's a correlation between age teeth came in and age teeth come out. I'm not sure if that's accurate, though.
