Dairy. Which is strange for me because I eat an almost vegan diet most of the time. Maybe my body is crying out for more calcium?

And of course now I want a burrito! I'm from San Francisco, living in Europe where there's not a decent burrito to be found.

Well I wasn't craving anything until I opened this thread I bought 2 jars of pickles today so I'll probably attack those after the kids are in bed

I read these threads knowing they will give me cravings. . . why do I do that to myself. I also browse recipezaar.com looking for cravings. I made lemon cheesecake bars today after browsing and they are good but after 3 of them I think I'm about done. Need to find a friend in town to give them to so that I don't eat all that sugar anyway, most my friends close by are on weight watchers though so I wouldn't be a friend to bring those to them!

blueberry/raspberry pie. I bought one at a farmer's market a couple weeks ago. It was gone in three days (all me minus one teeny tiny slice I shared with DH). I tracked down the bakery it came from, made the 45 minute trek last weekend to get another one-- closed. DH entered sainthood status for me when he popped in this week and bought me a second one. SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD. next time I go, I'm buying three and freezing two! :

Mmm, pie. That sounds fabulous.

It's cold and rainy here (which makes me think FALL!) so I'm craving pie, pumpkin bread, stew and- most of all- apples!!! I bought like, 10 apples yesterday and I've already eaten 4.

Slightly underbaked cinnamon rolls, so that they are doughy and soft. Topped with that gooey white icing. Accompanied by an enormous glass of ice cold milk.

Prior to pregnancy I think I bought a can of cinnamon rolls to bake maybe twice a year. In the last month, I have purchased a can a week. So bad! (But I make myself feel better by reminding myself that I have only gained 3 pounds in 19.5 weeks. So the cinnamon rolls are good because I need to pick up a little weight, right?! )

Don't flame me... but... BEER!

It's totally weird because neither me or dh are drinkers, but we were out for dinner the other day, and this woman was drinking a beer and I was like OMG... I NEED SOME. I couldn't stop staring. So I asked DH to order a beer so I could have a few sips. He was totally laughing at me. I didn't want a whole or even half a beer, just a few sips, but I felt like I couldn't order it myself because I didn't want anyone to be "concerned" that I was "drinking" while pregnant. (They have signs up everywhere at restaurants) I admit that I myself might give a pregnant woman a funny look at first if I saw her drinking.

BTW it was VERY refreshing But I dont think I will have anymore.

Just like last pregnancy, DH is the one with the most cravings. He is going through ice cream like you wouldn't believe. He's not usually the one with the sweet tooth either. I cant even stand the thought of eating ice cream or chips.

I've REALLY been wanting coffee (I'll indulge in caffeinated once a day, otherwise decaf) and cheese. The softer the better- havarti, brie, etc. We bought a package of swiss and I ate almost the whole thing myself, DH bought brie and he had to eat it FAST so I wouldn't eat it all, and we went to a birthday party today and I ate almost everything on the cheese plate.

Pears. Something about pregnancy makes me really crave sweet juicy fruit. Last time it was nectarines.

Of course, not all of my cravings are so healthy. Last night when I was inexplicably awake and trying to fall back asleep, I kept fantasizing about toffee, the chewy soft buttery British sort. Yum.

I've been craving grapefruit juice.
And I don't even like it!!!
I know that sounds bazaar.
In my head it seems like it would taste really good.
Then I pour myself a glass and guzzle it and I'm like ".....ehwww. WHY did I just do that?"......glug,glug,glug (and I drink more!)
I bought a bottle the other day and couldn't even wait to get home.
I opened the bottle in the parking lot of the grocery store!
I've recently smartened up a little and started putting a teaspoon of sugar in it which is much more pleasant, but still. Not something I would drink any other time!
My husband thinks it's hysterical, and disgusting.
In the first trimester I was drinking pickle juice....with extra salt in it.
And I'm still on a lemonade kick.
I don't know what it is with the citrus.
ANd then I'm dying with heartburn at night!
