I drove to the store with DD1 at 11PM to get tomatoes and bread. I ate two tomato sandwiches on toast, and could eat a third, but I'm trying to hold back... anyone else craving anything? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/nut.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="nut">

I am so not having healthy cravings... coffee and chocolate. There. That's what I want. I think I could totally sustain myself on those two things!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/nut.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="nut"> But, alas, I just don't bring either home. So, at night while my insides are screaming CHOCOLATE!!! or COFFEE!!! I'm usually at home and with kids in bed. No way would I dare wake them up so I could go get either one. That said, I do manage to get my iced decaf coffee or cadbury piece of chocolate pretty darn regularly! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/bag.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Bag">:<br><br>
I'd say open up and eat that 3rd tomato sandwich!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

I've been back to craving vinegar. A batch of 3 bean salad is constantly in the fridge.

Ok, I'm not into vinegar at the moment, but I can talk food!!! Have you tried sliced tomatoes, peeled and sliced cucumber, optional green onions, with shredded feta over top and then add olive oil and vinegar? It's a great combo.

Ahhh, Shephard's Salad... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/yummy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="yummy"> Unfortunately, I'm very allergic to tomatoes and the rest of the nightshade family. Feta, however, is a key part of my diet.

I mean, I do eat vegetables, and enjoy them, but that's certainly not what creeps into my thoughts when I'm here at the computer.

Yummmm, red wine. DH opened a bottle last week and it smelled soooo good. I could smell it from across the room. I've had to ask him to stick to beer for another few months...

Glad to hear I'm not the only one craving coffee!! I didn't drink a drop of it my first pgcy, but now I have two cups every morning. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/bag.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Bag">: We switched to half-caff, so I could at least avoid some of the caffeine. Eek!

Mmm, red wine. Oh, Wendy, that's been sounding so good to me, too. I'm thinking I may have to pretend that I'm a pregnant European woman! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

Not really craving anything, usually. But last night I really, really wanted some nectarines and plums. Some wine would be nice but I don't think that could qualify as a "craving." I've just promised myself a glass of wine in early labor, and champaign with truffles afterward, to celebrate the arrival <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">

on them all day long. I have had no food cravings this whole pregnancy aside from Aunt Annie's pretzels and I get those about once a month.
