Just wondering how many are not finding out. I wanted a surprise with DD but couldn't resist peeking. I must say I'm already very happy & proud I was able to look away!

so how 'bout you?

I will hopefully find out on the 31st! I can't wait. I really think it's a girl, but you never know.

i am not finding out. i have a sort of weird perspective on the whole gender thing any ways. i have a number of good friends who are transgender and some friends who are genderqueer so i kinda feel like the only one who will really know my childs gender is my child and i will have to wait and see. i mean seeing the a penis or not at birth will tell me probably what the child is ut it isn't always accurate. also i really want a daughter but i really want a son either would be so cool!

I'll be 20 weeks June 3rd, so I'll find out sometime around then. My midwife won't let me find out before and my dh is desperate to know

I voted "not finding out" but I'm not promising to keep to that. I'll just see as I go. Currently, I'm not dying to know or to get a u/s. I am ready to start looking for the heartbeat.

I have the greatest respect for those of you who can wait until birth. I just can't resist. Besides it's a surprise no matter when we find out! I would have assumed I was having a third boy and wouldn't have been prepared for a girl. Now I can prepare a little!

I'm glad the majority are waiting (as of this post). I totally agree on the baby's sex at birth not necessarily coinciding with the person's gender later in life... I have a pretty diverse group of friends as well.

I'm more excted about not getting as much pink or blue crap before the baby is born.

We just found out today. It's a boy! This will be our second boy and as I am head over heals for my first boy, I am really excited that we will have another.

We'll be surprised at the birth. We're not having an u/s anyway so it won't be hard not to peek.

If for any reason we need an u/s at all, we'll take a peek.

Yeah... even if I found out, I sure as heck wouldn't tell people. I have an aunt that literally started jumping up and down at the possibility of buying pink, plastic princess crap when my cousin announced it was a girl. EW.

no ultra-sounding here either, unless something indicates one is necessary. Personally, I feel like it's such a private, intimate thing to hold this secret miracle inside of you. . . I want to savour it for as long as possible!

My brother did complain that he wouldn't be able to buy any trendy gender appropriate clothing while he's in Europe this summer. . . like that's really going to sway me!
