I'll start I suppose

I am looking forward to: of course, meeting my baby and getting to know her, breastfeeding, cosleeping, etc...being a bit more physically comfortable (after recovery)...being able to exercise harder...being able to eat raw cookie dough without feeling guilty...being able to have a bit of wine here and there since I turned 21 while pregnant...being able to have um, personal, time with my husband without being as uncomfortable as I have been the last few months (after recovery of course), making friends with other mommies and having something in common to talk about.

I'm looking forward to just having my baby in my arms

I also can't wait to move around more comfortably and exercising more. I've been unable this entire pregnancy and I am really not happy in my current body.

I love being pregnant but I am so uncomfortable at this point.. I cannot wait to have the babies. I am really looking forward to some raw sushi and red wine.. Brie cheese. But mainly the wine..

Primarily looking forward to the baby, but also sleeping on my back and stomach, being able to walk more than a few blocks without being in agony, and being able to drive comfortably.

Booze and raw fish, hah. And YES, sleeping on my back or my stomach! Walking a lot without cramping, not being so, um, aware of my belly button, being able to bend over somewhat comfortably, and sex not being so awkward! Oh right and NO MORE MATERNITY CLOTHES!
It took a while after the birth for all of this to come true last time, so I'm just going to try to be patient.

Being able to walk without pain. Like, even around the house. Being able to sleep without pain, sit without pain, stand without pain... Did I mention I'm in pain? lol.
oh, that and all the fun new baby stuff.

Of course, all the stuff that has to do with the baby. I want my baby in my arms, not my belly. With that said, I can not WAIT to be able to walk without crying, to sit without crying, to wake up every day and not wish I could take a bottle of vicodin to get rid of the pain. This pain is for the birds and I just want it gone NOW.

Other than all the baby stuff
: ...
I'm looking forward to running, biking, playing soccer and generally getting fit again.
I'm looking forward to being able to sleep in whatever position I want to.
I'm looking forward to dh being interested in the physical side of our relationship again (I hope).
Those are the big ones. There are some things, like the occasional beer that I thought I'd miss but I really don't.

There are lots of things!
- I can't wait to hold my boy
- NOT being in pain in my pelvis anymore
- nursing again
- can't wait to be able to bend over and tie my own shoes
- that year of time with him and my DD and not having to go to work
- this summer, sitting on a blanket on the grass, holding him and watching my DD at play

YES to all that. Especially the maternity clothes. It's weird b/c I'm not really "into" clothes generally, but I can't wait to get back in my old stuff, and be able to buy something, ANYTHING, that isn't "maternity"! I used to walk so fast, other people would complain... now I dawdle. I'm looking forward to getting back to a quick trot!

Baby, baby, baby. I can't wait for all things baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a more selfish note, I can't wait to not be fat. My body put on a lot of unexplained weight after we lost our last baby and it has only continued with this pregnancy. It just feels crappy. I'm guessing I'll be able to go back to my normal weight (which is still far from skinny, lol) within a reasonable time after birth since I always have with my live births.

I'm looking forward to sunshine.
Around here, the sun doesn't come out until the end of June, so that's what I'm *really* looking forward to! We had three beautiful days but that ended today. It was so nice driving around with the top down on my car!

Okay, yes I'm looking forward to the baby! I'm *really* hoping that he doesn't have the nursing problems my last two had... I don't want to pump for 2 months again, before the baby will even latch, that was so hard on my psyche.
So I'm definitely praying that this baby won't come too early, and has a strong suck reflex!

I'm also looking forward to school being out. I hate having to get up so early to get the kids off to school. I guess that comes with the end of June thing too!

I'm really looking forward to that first moment where I actually see his face for the first time. Nursing him for the first time, cloth diapering for the first time, co-sleeping, eating sushi (I used to eat it 2-3 times a week), introducing him to all the people that have been waiting on him, being able to bend over without a loud expiratory grunt or funky positioning, and not having to sleep with 5 million pillows. The biggest thing I can't wait for is just to be his mommy.

This thread cracks me up. Trust me, I am totally feeling the same way! There are so many things that I am looking forward to.
The thing that makes me chuckle though is the difference between the beginning optimism and excitement posts in the beginning of pregnancy versus the tired of it all at the end. It reminded me of a post that we had early on in the game about what we are most looking forward to about progressing through our pregnancies. I had to go back and find it (posted link below). Some of the comments make me laugh now (like LOVING maternity clothes, our huge bellies, all of the "nice" things people say to us, etc.) Just a bit of a reminder of the head space we were in back then. Might lift our moods a bit

Well I still eat brie and sushi and drink some beer and wine here and there, but man it will feel good to drink a WHOLE GLASS of whatever I want! haha! Right now I stop as soon as I feel anything at all, but man to I love and miss that one drink glow!

I can't wait to wear my babe in the Moby, that was hands down my favorite newborn stuff. And all the stuff that comes with the miracle of new life, of course.

I can't wait to sleep. I said that the first time and everyone laughed and said "oh you won't be sleeping for a while!" Welllll not true! Even at 45 minutes a pop it was GOOD sleep with a newborn. Right now I'm so uncomfortable I'm just not getting any good rest at all. And the peeing. Man am I over the peeing! Early postpardum hurts, but it all heals quickly. This is dragggggggging on for what seems like forever. If anyone ever tells me again how quickly the 2nd pregnancy goes I'm gonna bop 'em in the nose.
