My favorite homemade desserts are cookies and brownies. I also enjoy eating apple crisp. It's so delicious!!!! I usually bake desserts 1-2x a week. The downfall of desserts, I tend to eat too much of it.

I also like cinnamon rolls and pies.

I don't often make desserts but the most frequent one is chocolate chip cookies. For special occasions I make either trifle, fudge or my grandma's version of cheesecake which I've heard called Cherry Dream Pie.

I've made other stuff but those are my favs.

One of my favorites is fruit pizza:

Bread-based crust of your choice...whole grains are good. Sometimes we use graham crackers, especially with leftover cream cheese spread. The original recipe calls for crescent rolls laid out flat.

1 8-oz package of cream cheese mixed with 1/4 cup of sugar (or sweetener of your choice) and 1 tsp almond extract.

Top with cut-up fruits & berries, slice and enjoy.

I love baking and have a weakness for sweets. My favorites are cherry pie, homemade sweet rolls and choc chip cookies, but I love so many more and I enjoy trying new recipes. Since I can't resist eating it, I try not to make more than one thing a week. The rest of the time, I get my fix from fruit!

I am all for creamy desserts
: - tiramisu, trifles, parfaits, ice cream, pudding.
Of course I also enjoy baked goods like cinammon rolls or brownies or cookies but that's more of an brunch or afternoon event to accompany my café au lait

I bake a lot.

I have a favorite lemon bundt cake that's tremendous.

During the summer I make an awesome fresh strawberry pie. Oh my gosh it's good. With whipped cream on top....

I threw away all the "crap" in our house last week - all refined sugar, artifical colors etc... Now my kids get chocolate covered nuts for a treat and the LOVE it! I take dark chocolate, melt it and mix in some raw walnuts. Freeze and break apart into candy chunks. It's healthy and totally satisfies their (and my) sweet tooth

organic carrot cake, the recipe is on whole foods. it is the BEST thing i have ever made from scratch, and it was a bigger hit at our daugters birthday party, everybody loved it more than the peanut butter cookies, the pumpkin pie, the organic coconut lemon cake......

My favorite homemade dessert has to be my grandmothers recipe for Cottage Pudding. It sounds weird but there is no cottage anything in it and it's not a pudding! lol
It's a dense cake (not overly sweet) that you back and serve warm with a homemade deep, rich, velvetly chocolate sauce and it's heaven!

My favorite is buttermilk biscuits, with a mix of fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries and strawberries no sugar added) with homemade whipped cream. To die for.

Also live Molly Katzen'x brownies. The best.

A favorite dessert of my family, too! The recipe easily dates back before the 1900s.

Can we have the recipe for the Cottage pudding?

I make much of the above, plus:

- raisin/cinammon cream scones
- english toffee cookies
- banana/apple/zuke/carrot bread with chocolate chips
- bread pudding YUM!
- vanilla rice pudding with either tapioca or rice
- stuff from puff pastry, eg. cream cheese fruit filling, rolled into cinammon sticks, apple/pear galettes

I have a die-hard sweet tooth and don't really go vegan/health conscious when baking treats. I find baking very therapeutic...the aromatherapy, esp with cinammon and vanilla
(I'm also underweight from bfing and see it as my duty to bake stuff
)

Definitely! I just need to call my dad and get it from him, I can't seem to find mine.
I am warning you though, it is addictive and you will eat the entire pan!
