I keep looking for a fun baby site for all of the baby gear. Just to look at and have ideas, but all I find is maaaad expensive and/or not really my style.

Any recommendations?

I ask so many questions here

I like mom4life.com for a lot of things and I like http://www.thesoftlanding.com because I know their products are safe, but I don't think either site has large items like strollers, cribs etc. I'll have to think some more...

I just discovered such a cool website! It's called Healthy Toys- it shows you what kind of chemicals are in toys. I love it! I already added and changed some things on my registry once I found this and found some toys or products that had less chemicals in them.

I talk about it on my blog too!

One place to check, might be your local craigslist. I know it varies a lot by area, but I was able to find the exact changing table I was considering buying from the store for 1/3 the price on criagslist and it made me feel better that I was reusing a perfectly good table (rather than buying a new one). Anyway, I've seen Dutailier rocking chairs/ gliders on there, an unused Medela Pump-In-Style pump and a TON of strollers, etc. Anyway, something to look into for getting nice stuff for less $$.

Below are some of my favorite online stores, they vary a bit price-wise from cheaper to more expensive. Don't know if any of this is what you are looking for, but here goes
...

For baby clothes:

www.speesees.com They use organic cotton and fair trade practices, also their pants are known for having room in the tush for cloth diapers. They're one of the few makers of organic clothing for babies that isn't all pastels and their baby towels are fantastic.

www.katequinnorganics.com More nice organic cotton clothes, etc.

www.sagecreekorganics.com
I haven't ordered from them, but they have cute stuff, including bedding.

www.sckoon.com More supercute baby clothes with some fun prints, including some Asian inspired patterns. Also has pretty mamacloth (but I've never used them, so I can't speak to how useful they are).

www.underthenile.com Cute stuff, more in the way of pastels, but not exclusively.

www.softstarshoes.com Great handcrafted leather shoes and has a fun "design your own" feature.

For toys (mostly for older babies/ kids):

www.novanatural.com Nova Natural carries a lot of wooden toys and playsilks, etc.

www.oompa.com Oompa Toys carries a lot of the Haba wooden toys

For baby carriers:

BabyHawk I haven't bought a carrier from them yet, but have heard great things about their carriers AND you have the option to "design your own."

Ergo Great and very popular carriers, I personally wish they would come out with ones in brighter, less muted colors. Something to check craigslist for (at least in my area, there have been a few for sale).
