I'm totally ignorant, what ingredients are not vegan in stuff like lotion and lip balm etc...?

Beeswax<br>
Almost all stearic acid used in lotions is vegan - especially if it says Palm Stearic Acid but would have to ask to make sure.<br>
Squalane is vegan but SqualEne is not<br>
Emu oil, ostrich oil, mink oil etc..<br>
Tallow or lard (sodium tallowate or sodium lardate on soaps)
