worn with newborn fitteds such as Kissaluvs and Swaddlebess? I am thinking of trying out some wool for the first time but don't know what to get. I know I read that the Aristocrat doesn't fit a newborn too well, and my babies start out small and stay small so I need something that will def. fit.

Thanks!

Nikky and Bumpy wraps worked well for us. They can both be put in the washer too. I have also heard good things about Staccinator (sp?).

Their NB/SM is a great, trimmer fit--I used nb cotton terry swaddlebees and a loveybums jersey cover and it was perfect. I only had one kissaluvs, and I can't remember if I ever used the wool over it, so no help there.

Here's a pic from a long ago post...she was just 2 weeks old or so...

http://i14.tinypic.com/40mmcti.jpg

I had a small Sugarpeas cover that fit really well as a newborn (& also lasted awhile size-wise). Didn't have a loveybums that size, but they're nice covers & I think they'd work well too for small sizes. Stacinator was a bit too big for our newborn (waited a month or two until it fit well) & for awhile it only worked with real thick prefolds - I don't think it'd be the best with trimmer fitted diapers.

For newborn I used Nikky and Stacinator covers. I LOVE Imse Vimse covers, but IMO the nb size runs big...it fit my ds when he was in smalls in other covers.

My favorites for my last newborn were handknit soakers, a Muttaqin snapping cover, and a Righteous Baby WIO shell (can't remember us using that as a WIO once...).

I loved our Stacinator covers when our guy (actually both our guys) was a newborn. They were completely reliable and fit over a variety of fitteds (and prefolds).
