Dd has a rash that is a combination of teethin' and too much fruit - you know the one - bright red and ouchie?
I used Weleda with her disposable dipes but have read here that I can't use diaper cream with FBs. Can I use Lansinoh? Would that help? Any other suggestions? She is really red! Thanks!

The Weleda with the zinc oxide (white tube) or without (orange tube)? I have both kinds...THANKS!!! I just don't want them to stain or not work anymore since they are new and quite a heavy investment, ya know?

the reason for the natural products is that most of the unnatural products contains fish oils that will cause a build up in your dipes and cause them to stink, bad. Sometime like fish. Either of those will be fine. As far as not staining, to be safe lay down a cloth wipe (or washcloth) in between baby and dipe. If in the future you get a stain from poop, just lay it in the sun to sun bleach them. Your right they are a big investment, I feel the same way, most days, then some days I'm like, "their diapers, their made to be pooped and peed in." I would really be concerned if I were going to resale them.

We have used Burt's Bees with no problem, but prefer the California Baby Calendula Cream. It's lighter weight and less greasy and clears up rashes super-fast. Also, breast milk applied topically is great for diaper rash. I see you're in DeKalb! I spent a semester at NIU and grew up in Northern Illinois (Ingleside--near Gurnee, etc.).
