DH and I are from Manitoba, and we're discussing the possibility of a move to BC. We'll be checking it out in June, and Campbell River is on our list of places to see.<br><br>
What can you tell me about living in Campbell River?<br>
What should we make a point of seeing when we're there?<br><br>
Thanks <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
You can check out my other threads, Fraser Valley and Courtnay/Comox - there's a little more info on what we're looking for. In terms of family friendly, natural/crunchy, job availability etc.

My dh grew up there 6-18 years old. I don't know TOO much about CR, but I know he wanted out as fast as he could <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
It's a big fishing town. It's cheap (he paid $400 for a 2 bedroom, 10 years ago)<br>
It's not very crunchy, but a friend from highschool had a homebirth, but I think that was just my influence <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">
