I'm not concerned yet just curious...My 9 month old has been sleeping A LOT. Don't hate me I did the whole no sleep thing for the first 6 months (she used to wake every 15 minutes).

Recently I swear she would sleep all day and night (with plenty of nursing of course). We had a rough week or so where she was screaming a lot at night, but now she just wakes crying a few times. If we go out and do anything she gets tired and has to nap. She is taking 2-3 naps a day usaully 1 hour then 2-3 hours than another hour and will sleep 10-12 hours at night (with wakings to nurse and nursing in her sleep). She never used to sleep for long periods so maybe it just seems like a lot?

All her "playmate friends" do not sleep half as much as she does and she is always tired around them. (I know not to compare babies but I just can't help it!!) She has never been noticably tired during growth spurts and doesn't seem sick to me. Can developmental things make them sleep more sometimes?

My kids both went through times where they could sleep all the time when they were going through a growth spurt, during allergy season....

Yup growth spurt. My mom used to say: "I love you most when you are growing", meaning sleeping.
