my DD is about to grow out of her kissaluvs fitteds size 0 and I was hoping to talk a relative into giving her some size 1s as a gift. Right now I use a prowrap over it, and it works ok, but is sometimes hard to cover up the area of the diaper around the legs. Any favorite covers?

Mostly, I've used Bummis SWW, too, with good results, although I do have to be careful about tucking in around the legs. Sizing up the cover can help....

For major-brand covers, the Kissaluvs website has a very helpful fit matrix. Take a peek.

Other covers I like with my Kissaluvs: Sugarpeas fleece (again, check well around the legs, but it's a beautiful, trim fit!) and a new fave: fleece from Bluebird Baby, although checking the website, it seems these are side-snapping, and the one I have is hook-and-loop.

Thinking about this, I would recommend side-snapping covers or hook-and-loop closures for the best coverage. I bought a bunch of Bummis snap covers when I started out (found a great sale price and was worried about aplix in the laundry), so that's what I use most, but they take more attention to fabric sneaking out around the legs than either my side-snapping covers or the Bummis with Aplix. I think front-snapping dipes & covers just don't hug around the legs as much.

Covers I haven't tried but have heard great things about (in connection with Kissaluvs) are pull-on pants like the Stacinator So Simple and Polar Babies Happy Pants (which have side-snaps).

I'm using plain gerber nylon pull up pants with mine. I had bought some litewrap and prorap but they were too tight for my little one with that thick of a diaper. She has chubby, chubby legs and a skinny waist, hard to fit!

I used nylon pull-ons (Dappis and Alexis Featherlites, Bummis Whisper pull-ons) and fell in love with them. They are my favorites over any fitted. Trim under clothes, cheap, easy to care for, no diaper-tucking needed, and breathable.
