Hahaha, today was the worst day ever. Well, not really, but it was interesting, to say the least!!

It starts off with me forgetting my water bottle at home. But I realize on the drive that I have a spare at work. But then I realize that I don't have any Crystal Light packets because they are in the lunch box that I also forgot I was really tempted to run through a drive through to get a soda, but I thought better of it. Plain water it would be!

So I get to work and a teacher in another room is like "Hey, I brought some koolaid packets that you add to a bottle of water for you to try!" I was like, yay!! So I fill up my 32 ounce Weight Watchers water bottle with grape flavored sugar free koolaid.

I then go to start my bulletin board project with my kids. I have our clipboard with me, that has all of the important information on it like the kid's sign in and the emergency contact list and accident reports, etc. I also have the gigantic construction paper caddy.

I am tracing a child's hands and she is picking out how many petals she wants on her flower, when I take a sip of koolaid, drop the bottle, the lid flies off and grape koolaid soaks my shirt, pants, the table, the chairs, the floor.. and my clipboard! Oh noooooooooooooo!

So I get the mop. Spend about a half an hour cleaning up this mess. I then go out to my car because a good teacher always keeps a spare set of clothes in her car in case she gets thrown up on. Nope, I guess I never restocked. Thankfully, due to my weird habit of dilluting everything I drink, my clothing was just a faint purple instead of all out purple Although I did spend about 2 hours looking like I had had an accident

So then I decide to give up on my project for the day and concentrate on drying out these very important papers on my clipboard. I pick up the 30 pound construction paper caddy to put it back... and drop it on my foot. At this point my coworker just sort of looks at me and is like "This really isn't your day!" You ain't kidding

It hurt. A lot. And paper goes flying everywhere. It takes another half an hour to get that mess cleaned up.

Then comes lunch time. Soup. I serve the kids, they are all eating happily. I lean back to serve myself from the cart. Yep. I tip the cart and spill tomato soup all over the carpet, my legs and my new shoes. My coworker was like "Um. Did you just spill soup?!"

Yep.

Okay, so then it is break time. I tell my coworker that I am not coming back I go to the gas station to pump gas. My gas cap goes flying out of my hand and lands somewhere under my car. I couldn't get it out and I was afraid to turn the engine on with the gas cap off to move the car. Luckily for me a nice old man next to me sort of slid himself under the car and got it out for me! Thanks so much to him!!

I decide that I have earned a soda. I am not supposed to drink soda at work. But I was having a super bad day.

When I get back to work and am getting ready for snack time, I open the soda. You guessed it. It shots soda everywhere. I guess it must have been a bumpy ride back to work.

I joked that it was a good thing I didn't work in the infant room, with all of the dropping that was going on today!!!

That was the end of it though, and now I am off to bed to end this very interesting Monday/Friday!
Oh my gosh! You poor thing. I have days like that. It seems like when one things goes wrong a bunch of other things do too. It sounds like you really took everything well and handled it in stride. Good for you. I think I would have started crying. Lol.
