I don't use one. Everything I need is in the car anyway. I don't like to use a purse and mostly will just put the minimum stuff in my pockets. I will put a dipe in a messager bag though if DS isnt with me (if he is I put it in his backpack) when I go walking though.
Land's End Diaper Bag backpack. LOVE IT!

we tried several other kinds of bags but this was the first to work for us!
I have a couple of small backpacks for when I need to carry more than my keys/wallet. I love Janine King's handmade soft packs on eBay. REI also makes a great small pack that is more structured and has good pockets for baby-type stuff.
i really like that REI bag. there is a store in Mass. so i may be able to get it there and save on shipping. unfortuantely, its not in the outlet.

anyone else care to chime in? im looking for the PERFECT bag!

maybe i should sell the million handbags and briefcases i have in order to buy a PERFECT diaper bag!

Since I wear DS on the front, I have a backpack style bag.
I LOVE my Kecci Shanghai
...Got it brand new,and a super deal from a mama on the TP..It's held up very well for the 7 months I've had it...I soooo love the fabric and you can wear as a backpack or shoulder or messenger style

aveena,
i like that bag. i ordered something similar on ebay and spent way too much $$ on it but its not very durable. are those really durable? im not the kindest person in the world to my bags, so they really do need to be tough.
all i need a bag for is a change of diapers, the changing pad, a change of clothes and a few personal things.
thanks everyone

It's been great for my needs...Like you, I needed something for some diap's, changing pad and x-tra clothes for DD...It has several pockets to put stuff..I have NO trouble fitting all our stuff in it..Unlike my other bags...

I do throw it in and out of the car and bring it out places...I've even thrown it in the washer(cold & gentle wool wash cycle) twice and hung dry along w/the changing pad...Not sure if it's any help or not?
I have not tested it other then that

I've heard some people have issues w/the zippers....But I haven't so far-now, watch I say this and.... I will!

buy a used one/new on the TP !!! I wouldn't pay full price, geesh..$60 is CRAZY to spend on a diaper bag...

Good luck!

a teeny weeny escape pod from Fleurville works great for me, but only holds wipes (comes with a case) and 1 fitted or AIO, small wallet, cell phone, a couple of doodads like lip gloss or something. you know, the necessities
