On alot of veg messageboards there are threads devoted to what everyone/their kids ate that day. I think it would be great to have something like that here since this is such a diverse group. I don't know why but, I felt the need to ask what all of your opinions on it are before starting one. If keeping track of a whole day's worth of food is too hard we could just do a "what did you have for supper" thread.

breakfast: smoothie (slightly modified from Dr. Sears website)- rice milk, yogurt, banana, frozen blueberries, 1/4 avocado, a big glob of cashew butter, ground flax seeds, cinnamon

2 pieces of toast (organic oat bran bread) w/ more cashew butter

did a test run of tahini gravy and dipped some rice cakes and carrots in it to test it out- this was kind of my lunch

snacked on dried apples

dinner: pasta (spelt rotini) w/sauce: sauteed onion, lots of garlic, thinly sliced carrots, crushed tomatoes, some herbs, cayenne, balsamic vinegar, kale

I'm just about to have a cup of tea (nettle and raspberry leaf) and some really yummy vegan chocolate mint cookies I grabbed on an impulse at the co-op

I'll play!

BF: steel-cut oats with apples, raisins, flaxseed oil, and milk (and oj)

Lunch: egg scramble with spinach, onions, parsley, yellow pepper, and sharp cheddar cheese, plus a little leftover brown rice with lemon-tahini

Dinner: bean tostadas (on corn tortillas), delicata squash, and sesame spinach

snack: for me, a slice of multigrain dill-onion bread that I just baked (yummy!) for my daughter, crackers with nut butter mid-morning, and yogurt with flaxseed oil and probiotics mid-afternoon. Oh and she ate 8 strawberries too (this was a good food day for us--usually she considers eating about 17th on her list of favorite things to do)

Lunch was a cheese omelette and OJ.

Dinner was half of a sushi platter (9ds ate the other half) and a bowl of the french fries that dh made to go with his and the other child's dinner. They had fish and chips, and a green salad. I had a bit of salad, too.

I don't snack much. I'm having a cup of Gingerbread Spice tea right now, and that will probably be all till tomorrow.
