Aristocrat wool covers?

I like mine, but I don't really use it that often b/c I have other wool that is trimmer. But for in the house, my 'crat is great.
Until we found Celtic Wool Creations, our 'crat was the only thing that kept dd dry all night.
Love ours. My 8 month old son used to soak a disposable overnight (sometimes peeing through them even though we'd go up a size).

Now I use 1 fitted premium PF, a hemp doubler from Monkey Doodle Baby, a fleece scrap liner all under an aristocrat. 12+ hours of dryness even when the diaper is saturated.

The bonus is those BM poops actually get absorbed into the diap so that when we pick him up in the AM you can actually carry him under the bum without squishing the diaper contents up his back.

We love ours too! DS has 2 and DD has 1. We always use them for night time diapering.
Love our crats. We bought both of ours used and felted (before I knew that felted was bad... or knew what felted was!) and have been using both for around 2 years now. I kool-aid dyed them cool colors and I mostly use them for nighttime.

for those of you long time crat owners - can I spin mine in the washer? I know I can't agitate them or tumble them but what about spinning the water out? Will it felt or is felting something that will happen no matter what?
It's the only wool that works for us at night - and we have tried a LOT of wool!

Love them- never a wet bed with them. I always spin mine in the washer - no felting. Mine always felt between the legs- but I think that is from urine and friction.
I love mine. We use it for nighttime and have no problems with leaks.

I
it for night!

I pop that puppy over a fitted with 2-3 doublers and we're good to go

We were getting leaks with our Fuzzibunz and I think we have a solution

So happy to hear they work for everyone - since I'm waiting impatiently to get mine. Yippee!
Well, we have had a size large since ds was about 8 months old. He is about to turn 3 and still in the same size. He can wear it at night now, but when he was a really heavy wetter it didn't hold up. We used it during the day. We have dyed ours red. Man, it's durable and it fits forever! Now he can wear it at night again. I'd be hard pressed to find a diapering item I have gotten better value out of!

I wash all my wool on gentle and then spin - I don't mind a little felting on my 'crats.

Love the 'crats - almost every night for both kiddos

Love ours too.
It's my never fail night cover. Because of the humidity of where we live it does take up to 2 days to fully dry after a washing but it's the first on I grab.
I do get a "little" felting between the legs but I just do a little stretching during the soak and it comes right back.
I use the spin cycle on the delicate setting to help get the excess water out. I think I moved Jack into the Large (there isn't a "medium") when he was about 8-9 months old. The Small still "fit: but it was like shaking a pillow into the pillowcase sometimes. :LOL So I started using the Large because it was easier to slide onto him. Now he "helps" with the process.
