What do you consider to be expensive for a fitted diaper? I'm not talking about what Elbees go for on Ebay, but a new fitted from a WAHM.

I think for a fitted anything over about $16 is expensive. I find it so hard to justify spending that kind of money and just get one diaper. That's probably why my stash is about 80% used. Buying from the gals here is such a great, warm experience <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love">

I think 20+ is expensive for a fitted. I am willing to pay that much if it is one of my favorite brands and has decent resale value. JMO <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

The most I've paid for an AIO $22.50 +shipping. I think that's a lot. For fitteds however... Let's just say I went a little nuts on eBay for some Fluffymail <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/bow.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="bow"> last week! Usually, I like to keep things under $20. Which is still a lot, but when I was using sposies, I spent that much every week.

OK, wait. No AIO pricing. Just fitted. Plain fitted. Not on Ebay, not on the TP, not with embroidery. Just a fitted.

Hmm, I'm on a very tight budget, infact I was given the $ to buy my latest buys from my wonderfull dad. I won't spend over 16-18 $ on a fitted new(If I have the $). And that fitted has to be amazing or a one size. I don't like AIO's, and don't have to cash to buy wool covers so most everything I have is used or made by me.

I think that size is a factor also. Most brands charge less for smaller sizes.<br><br>
We're in mediums, and my maximum is about $15 before shipping for a fitted.

Okay, in that case. I'd say I try not to spend more than $18. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

For a new fitted: $16, though sometime I want to try a firefly. I think those are $20. I can't seem to buy them used because they go so fast!<br><br>
For a PUL or fleece AIO: Maybe $22.<br><br>
For a wool cover: Maybe $30. Though again I want to try the Fuz...<br><br>
The most expensive diapers I've bought are: Sugar Peas fitted for $17, Sugar Peas wool cover for $22, and FMBG AIO for $17. That's not that much, compared to most of us!

Well, I'm probably a bad judge becuase I trade for virtually all of our diapers (one of the perks of being able to knit, LOL!) but I think there's no way I'd shell out more than $15 in cold hard cash for one diaper, LOL!

Well, I spent $24 each at Fussybutt's November stocking. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"> But I <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love">*LOVE*<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"> these diapers (and the WAHM!). If I didn't know I would absolutely be head over heels for them, I'd never spend that much! :LOL<br><br>
So, typically, I think I'm with the others who have said that $18 and up starts to look too high. Even then, it better be good! I'm most likely to buy something for $12-15.

my fitteds cost me about $14 ea and that's my max for a fitted UNLESS it is a night time diaper. (i'm saying that because i bought two sleeptights today, used, and one of them was more than $14, and I want to be okay with that)

For a plain ole fitted I wouldn't pay more than $16 + shipping. But the WAHM I buy from most has free shipping so that helps. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">
