yes. yes. yes.

It's nice to be able to change activities every once in awhile while you're in labor. I probably leaned on it with my arms more than I sat on it.

Another way I used mine was in the bathtub. I was on my knees (with a towel to keep them happy), leaning/bouncing on the ball while DH sprayed warm water on my back.
I sit on mine and just find differnt positions that open up my pelvis and hips in differnt ways... like knees bent and behind...legs out in front, rocking, swiveling, bouncing etc.... i have found it to intensify the pressure i feel on my cervix during contractions but at the same time feels good.
Definitely agree with all of the above! I really liked leaning over it on the floor (bed would've been more comfy!) during late pregnancy and in labor, too. It helped take the pressure off my back without squishing my stomach, as I had my upper body on the ball and my belly hanging off, but supported a bit by the side of the ball. I have quite a few pics of laboring like that and my then 2.5yo trying to rub my back for me.

It's also nice to sit on before you're in labor, and can help promote better posture and really be pretty comfy on the pelvis since it has a bit of give. In fact, my hard wooden chair is getting REALLY uncomfy right now, and I'm thinking I ought to find that ball!
