I go to Shoneys for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just kidding!

Cut watermelon, cut canteloupe...

Canned soup is quick (split pea is loaded with protein), as are dried fruit and nuts.

Cereal...protein drinks...If I have to cook something, I make it something I can run away from--like it heats in the oven (chicken patty, fries, etc) or boils (pasta, frozen veggies)

I also have to pick on the cut fruit while I wait for whatever it is to heat up. Speaking of which...I wish dh would go get me some more watermelon. *sigh*

I rarely make anything these days. I just shove as many fruits and veggies as I can tolerate raw into my face. Carrots, avacado, celery, apples, grapes, cucumber, melon, clementines, etc..

Mostly fruits, unfortunately! I need to get to a better diet again.

I started drinking Carnation Instant Breakfasts. You just mix them with milk and they come in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. They have about 15 grams of protein in them - very filling. And fast. (and no weird sweeteners or anything in them)

That reminds me, Toodypie, I had bought a bunch of Lucerne yogurt smoothies with 15 grams of protein, low fat, and I think it said non-dairy. They went down easy and gave me some protein.

cottage cheese is a staple in my house - full of protein and quick. making a huge bottle of chocolate milk in the morning works for me as well as my boys, and is good for me too.

I like to keep hard boiled eggs on hand, as well as cheese sticks. I have some protein bars that I eat in a pinch, when I am getting really hungry and can't cook. I second Carnation Instant Breakfast. . I drank that all the time with DS1 (my DR actually recommended it as I have a super fast metabolism and it helped me to stay feeling full). You just have to watch for the sugar, its loaded with it.
