Curious (yep I am on a roll), what you eat and take in a typical trying to eat TF/NT way?

Is there anything you ALWAYS take or eat no matter how bad the rest of the day might have been?

I try to get in my CLO/BO caps every day no matter how I ate. It's the one thing that has "entrenched" in my brain. I am working (withing a budget) towards being mostly "perfect".


What does a typical day look like for you?

I take my CLO every day. I made a point of doing this after I got severe 'mommy brain' after DD was born. I take a sploosh in a few ounces of orange juice. I'd say it's a tablespoon or two.

Even when I was at my worst (recent vacation) I still took my bottle of CLO with me. They all thought I was nuts. But this isn't a new thing.


I also take some CO every day but really only when I'm home. It's hard to carry CO around with you when it's summer!

well, today I ate, two fried eggs in butter with a cup or so of broccoli, tea with cream. Salad with some left over chicken, raw cheese on almond crackers, bottle of kombucha. About a hand full of strawberries, another of cherries and an apricot ( love summer!) and tonight its steak with rainbow chard, salad, a few oven baked "fries", and more steamed broccoli. Probably more strawberries and cherries ( whith whipped raw cream ) for dessert

I take clo and magnesium...thats about it.

I always eat my green smoothie, my HVCLO, magnesium, b vites, iodine, and others I'm sure I can't think of! In my smoothie is at least a 1/2 pound of organic fruit and 1 pound of organic greens (kale, spinach, chard, whatever) Right there at breakfast I know I'm doing well!

The rest of the day is varied. I try to get at least 2 pounds of veggies in per day and I very rarely can't make that. I aim for a pound of fruit-again, super easy. I also load up on fat in various forms. I do some meat, lots of raw fish, and plenty of nuts.

I try for fermented cabbage or carrots every day.

CLO, banana/coconut oil/coconut milk smoothie
Usually some form of pastured/high quality meat.
Fruits

"Popsicles" for the boys = pureed frozen bananas/avocado/mango
Soon I will start my "green" popsicles = pureed steamed greens/avocado/banana/raw honey (it amazes me every time they eat these lol)

I am sorry to say that some days this is the best we do.

That sounds really good; I think I'll try it!

I eat sauerkraut everyday, usually at lunch and dinner. I think I'm addicted. We always have our CLO & BO and kombucha, and chicken stock most days.

On a typical day, I eat:

breakfast: soaked multi-grain porridge, with butter, egg yolk, and milk
lunch: sourdough bread with butter and cheese, steamed broccoli, salad, sauerkraut, carrot sticks
dinner: fish, chicken, or buffalo, cooked in different ways, with potatoes or rice, a cooked veggie, a raw veggie, and sauerkraut
snacks throughout the day of fruit and nuts

Yep, just whip it...I add some vanilla...sometmes a bit of maplesyrup ( but doesn;t need it with fruit...
