Hi ladies, I haven't posted here in ages but i have a question. what do you all think of prowraps diaper covers and do they work with kissaluv and/or other fitteds or are they cut too high in the hip to cover? I don't have any of these so I can't judge but they look cool. thanks in advance for clueing me in!
I love proraps. They seem pretty trim to me (with a snappied prefold). I loved them for the newborn stage...no blowouts. I don't know how well they work with Kissaluvs because I haven't tried them.

I never got a really good fit with proraps like I did with BSWW.

I like proraps with snaps. I do find that diapers that are thicker through the hip may not get good coverage. Maybe I need to go up a size though b/c I used mediums on my 25.7 lb 2 yo old

I never really liked them, because their elastic seems scratchy and I have problems getting a good fit on dd. They leave red marks and feel like plastic. I prefer the ME airflow.

I like them and have been using them since ds was a newborn. Great price, great fit, no blowouts for us. We use them with prefolds, so I can't help on the fitteds question, though. BSWW didn't work for us at all, bad fit, leakage etc. I guess it depends on the babe. Ds has basically always been long and lean-skinny (cute!)little bum and hips, no chunky thighs and not many rolls.

When I used them I also liked Proraps w/snaps. The aplix closure wore out way too fast! I always got a good, trim fit on DS when I used them.

well, they are inexpesnvive if you get seconds, and they do get the job done, but we didn't like them for several reasons already mentioned.

They don't fit very well over a KL (but fit great over a prefold).. they left red marks across my dd's back no matter how loose we put it on... they don't have fold back laundry tabs, they wicked for us if used for naps.

Personally, I think there are better choices out there. BSIWW are one of our favorites for fit and function, but they can't be wiped clean and re-used as much because they have a knit inner that tends to smell after one or two wears which means you have to wash them more. We really loved ME airflows. Right now, my all time favorite cover is a simple little white 1mil PUL cover I made with soft fold over elastic using something similar to the New Conceptions side snap pattern (much like and airflow)... it work just as well as an airflow for us, but is much much trimmer under clothing. I think you could get something similar if you got a plain PUL cover from sugarbums, very baby, posie patch, poochies etc.

Pull-on covers are better for fitteds, they are trim and fit well over all the edges of fitteds.
Prowraps are ok, they are a good "when you run out " cover or to keep in the diaper bag just in case.

The Classic prowraps are not as good as the other kind of prowraps, i forgot the name, basic I think. They can be dried on hot and everything else, and never die!

Inexpensive, easy care, with nice gussets, and fits very small babies. But, the velcro is stiff and scratchy, and the inside sort of rubbery. I used some of these when my son first came home, because I knew he wouldn't be in the super small size long and either couldn't find, or didn't want to spend a fortune on, other covers.

I hate them! They have scratchy velcro, the legs/guessets never fully covered a PF, and they don't breath AT ALL!!!
