I like her philosophy pretty well, but she says to eat a balanced diet of protein, fats and carbs and that you can't really over eat fat because your body will stop you which I do find to be true. Of course she is against all forms of processed carbs and processed foods in general. However, she does think it is necessary to eat real carbs to ultimately gain health and stay healthy.<br><br>
Anyway, she says to eat solid foods but I like to make raw milk smoothies. Dr Schwartzbein says that it creates too much of an insulin spike to drink smoothies which I can understand. What do you think about that? She also says that it really isn't good to drink milk because it is a hidden form of sugar. What do you think about that? I have been drinking raw milk for about 5 years and have gained weight recently in the last year. I have probably put on 10 pounds, but I am hoping this is the healing phase of my transition that she talks about in her book.
