Ok, I took this test this AM. I am either 13 or 14 DPO and I am anxious to find out what other people think about it. This test was taken this morning but not on the first pee (I forgot!). It showed a horizontal control but no vertical and no positive line after a few minutes.

then I took the test out of my pocket to stare at it again and it now has both the missing control line and a positive line. This test is the kind that has a horizontal control line on the left and a vertical control line on the right. A positive result has a vertical line on the left making a plus.

so the vertical control line and the vertical line on the left showed up late on this test, plus it was knocking around in my pocket for about an hour.

What do you think?

I say... test again. If its the one I think you're talking about they're known for giving false positives after test time is up. I've had it happen to me :/

I live an hour from town and don't have any more tests. i guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Oh I know that feeling all too well! I'm only half hour but we had a snowstorm this morning and they really dont seem to care much about making the roads travelable anymore... If they're clear tomorrow I'm heading into town to stock up... but by monday and tuesday we're supposed to get a few more snow storms

oh! its a blue one! the ones i was talking about are the first response + or - pink ones from walmart. wholly unreliable...

as for a blue one. i just dont know. I mean.... it seems like its a very obvious positive? like you just didnt pee enough and it took longer to show but...

its really not reliable after the time limit on the test is up... so I just really dont know what to tell you other than good luck.

Yeah we live on 4 miles of steep dirt and I have to use chains on my car so going to town is a pain right now (snow) and I am also babysitting my brothers 4 kids. I should have spent the money on better tests and gotten more. geez.

And I'm such an idiot really because testing doesn't change anything, I'll know in the next 48 hours anyway.

Those tests are notorious for their thin blue evap lines...I hope it turns out to be your BFP but I sure would not trust that test.

What brand of test is that? It looks exactly like the same brand that gave me a false+. I used EPT. I did get the evap line and it was thin like that but in all honesty I still have the test sitting on my bathroom counter and it has been about 2 weeks I think and it was never that dark. My evap was light enough that I could barley get it to show up on a friggin cam. I mean it is hard to say because it was after the time limit but then again my evap was def not that visable. I guess the only way to know is to test again. What are you temps like? Are they still up?

My daughter lost my thermometer this month so I don't have temps to rely on

I am too far away to get another test today but I just found out my sister is coming up to cut down a Yule tree today and she's going to bring me another one

Now the question will be can i make myself wait till tomorrow first thing to test again. probably not

I'd better have her get more than one.

This was a Target brand pregnancy test. It says on the box "compare to the E.P.T"

im having the same problem i took a wal mart brand test and the positive showed up at like 12 min and just got darker and darker.

I'm not sure what kind my sister is getting - wish I could have picked them out myself. I'm just scared they'll come out negative and my hopes that rose with this test will be dashed. In good news it's later in the day and I haven't started bleeding or having cramps.

Of course every time I think the word "cramps" I think I feel something.

Stevi - no worries. I'm happy people are paying attention to my thread. I go nuts thinking about this stuff all by myself. Yours looks 100% positive to me.

What worries me about mine is how thin the vertical lines are.

Those are both sooooo freakin' positive....way too dark to be anything else but.....
I certainly uderstad the not believing it....It took 3 yrs to get a + (ds) for me the first time and almost 2 this time.....I did't believe it until I used an frer....

I am soo out of my mind happy that Dec is being soo good to this ttc board
