Not really. It might be ok, but the Ergo has a wide seat that holds the baby's legs in a seated postiton, so that the pelvic bones are in the proper position. This carrier has a narrow crotch and the baby's legs will hand straight down.

Oooohhhh... You're right! Look at this picture I found at Wal-Mart's website. Snugli That toddler does not look very comfortable, does she? Also, it only goes to 26 pounds, unlike the Ergo. Thanks!
