What do you wear

I've been BF-ing for over a year now and I started out so well dressed! I bought a whole wardrobe of nursing tops in size XL. Little did I know that by the time I had gotten it together enough to go out and about I would also have lost most of my pregnancy weight. So I bought a few shirts in size large.
At this point though I am 55 pounds lighter and my boobs have shriveled down to some droopy 36Ds. I now look best in size medium but I own precisely 1 nursing top in a medium.
To be honest he's nursing less frequently so I get away with just wearing a regular t-shirt and nurse in a more private spot.
But I am getting ready to visit my parents for a couple of weeks in the 'old' country. I need to bring some nice clothes. Where to shop though?
Do you know of an online source for nursing clothes that you'd recommend?
I've liked most of my Expressiva stuff although a change would be great. Motherwear is okay but I am tall and their shirts always look boxy and short on me. Who else sells nursing tops?

My DD will be one on Tues and I never wear nursing shirts. If you are worried about showing tummy then you could get a nursing tank top. It works just like a nursing bra but looks like a tank top. They sell them at Target for $15 or so.
I don't wear nursing tops... I've always just worn regular tops.

I dont like nursing shirts!
I wear nursing tanks under a regular shirt (to cover my belly). The thicker strapped nursing tanks (they look like the sleep bras) from motherhood maternity are giving me a lot of support - but I plan to try the target ones too... I also like shirts with lower necks that I can just pull down or to the side.
I have two shirts from Motherwear that I like.....they don't look like nursing shirts at all (hidden underlayer w/nursing openings) and people are always surprised when they compliment the shirts and find out they're nursing shirts.
If money were not a concern, I love BOOB nursing tops! They are expensive, but they look FABULOUS!
I love Majamas nursing tops. I have a bunch. Check ebay, there are several sellers that sell NWT ones.
I LOVE my glamourmom nursing tank tops. I can't stand regular nursing tops, and only wear the tank style ones with a built in bra.

I wear regular tops and regular bras. I'm fairly small-chested, so I just wear low-cut tops and lift the boob out.
I actually prefer buying regular shirts that button down or are crossed in the front so I can just pull down one side. I just can't justify paying the much higher prices for nursing specific tops.
You can also just get a cheap tank and cut slits in it...and just wear that under what ever.

Now why didn't I think of that?!? Great idea!
I've never worn a nursing top or a nursing bra. I just lift my shirt up and pull my boob out of the soft stretchy bras I like. If I'm going to be somewhere I don't want everyone seeing my belly, I wear a tanktop with a built-in shelf bra underneath and pull my shirt up and tanktop down. Or I have a cardigan or another button down shirt on left open that is more discreet on the sides. I don't deal with this much while out anymore though since my daughter is too distractible to NIP. I usually have to take her to the car or she won't nurse!

Which department are they in?? I would love to be able to pick up a couple reasonably priced nursing tanks but hadn't been able to find them at local stores. Thanks!

A few Target's near me put all their nursing bra's and tanks on clearance a few months ago and I thought that was going to be all stores. I thought someone on here said they weren't going to carry them any more.. .. hopefully not though

They have new ones with a new brand name (though many look identical) they're all together in with the regular bras. You have to really look to find them.

I just bought a two pack of the tanks at Costco. They have a built in shef bra and are very comfortable. I'm a C, though. Anyway, they're stretchy enough that I can pull them down and my regular shirt up and it's very comfortable.

Also, I know that many women find it comfortable to get a "bandeau" style shirt and just pull it down over their belly so that when they pull their shirt up to nurse, nobody sees skin.

I, too, go to visit family in another country, though, and understand the need to feel comfortable in nursing tops when I wouldn't otherwise wear them anymore. I suggest trying ebay, if you have time. I think you could find some good deals there, from people just trying to get rid of some nursing tops and recoup SOME of what they paid for them. Too, check the clearance sections on the expressiva and other sites that you like. SOmetimes you'll luck out and find something you like for a lot less money.

Good luck!
