Please someone tell me this is a phase. DD is 10 months old and just started crawling about 2 weeks ago, and life around here hasn't been the same since. She won't sit still for more than a couple minutes at a time, which I understand, but she has gotten so headstrong and crazy about crawling that I'm starting to miss the non-crawling days!

It is impossible to change her diaper, she tries to roll over and escape. She isn't eating as well as she was and hasn't finished a bottle in 2 weeks. Also, she fusses SO MUCH more now than she ever did, even throwing little tantrums, which she's never done before. She wants everything in the house and will throw a fit if you get in her way. And the worst part - nighttime. She's only STTN maybe twice in the last 2 weeks. She's been waking every 2 hours, motoring around her crib and screaming this awful banshee scream that we've never heard before.

She used to be so incredibly calm and lovable. She would sit happily and play with books or blocks and only ever cried when she was super hungry. She'd been STTN since 7 weeks old. I feel completely burned out and am trying my level best not to snap. Nights are awful, she will not calm down unless we bring her to bed with us and when we do, she tries to crawl around our bed and is constantly fidgeting and kicking us all night long. Last night she got herself upside-down and kicked me square in the right eye, which led to me crying, which led to her flipping out and screaming.

Is this just a temporary thing?? Please someone tell me that this happened to them and it went away! Is her little brain just so excited to be crawling that it's firing a mile a minute and it will eventually calm down? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, TIA!
