Hello..I was reading about how to make a no-sew ABC/MT on mamtoto's site, and she says you have to make it out of "heavy fleece". Uummm, what exactly is that? When I go to the store, can I just ask for "heavy fleece" or what? I have a big piece of fleece here, but I don';t know if it is "heavy" or not, how does one tell? Thanks.

"Heavy fleece" is fleece of sturdiness ... like, Malden Mills 200 wt. Microfleece might work too; equally supportive but thinner.

I think she means not the super-lightweight fleece (MM would call it 100 wt) that they make most baby blankets out of ... that stuff is not real supportive, and also stretches out too much. Heavy fleece is like a fleece coat (not baby pullovers but adult coats).

You may have made it already by now ... searching for unanswered posts ... if you did, tell us how it came out!
