I know we did this for Thanksgiving, so I thought we would do it for the upcoming holidays (insert your holiday of choice).

Christmas Eve: We order in...this year I am gunning for some Thai

Christmas Day: Standing Rib roast, Roasted Rosemary potatoes, yellow squash casserole (I love the stuff), green beans and for dessert a cheese cake

New Year's Eve/my anniversary: We traditionally go out

New Year's Day: 100% from scratch Lasagna, garlic bread and homemade Tiramisu

We're really poor this month, because we have to buy gifts, so I was going to do the Dickens dinner of goose, mashed potates, applesauce (warmed and spiced!), and not plum pudding, but something else. Except that goose is a lot of meat for us, and it's more expensive than I thought, so in the spirit of the Cratchits, we're having Cornish hens.

I still haven't decided on dessert.
