I've had the worst time with fleece pocket diapers. I've contacted the manufacturer and have been told I don't have repelling fleece but I just can't get them to work - maybe bad fit? Who knows. Anyway, I found Dreamboat diapers (http://www.dreamboatdiapers.wahmbiz.com/) and they have pocket diapers that are pul and either suedecloth, knit or flannel for the inner. I don't care for the way flannel washes and I would think knit would feel soaking wet all night unless topped with a fleece liner so I'm thinking about going with suedecloth but have no idea what it is. Any ideas?

it's 100% pollyester and I've seen other wahms use it for inners. It feels like suede on one side, very short soft nap and the other side is nothing special. I dont' know how it would do in a diaper, since to be honest I can't fathom how it could be anything but uncomfortable wet. I COULD be wrong, and I suppose I ought to get some from Joanns or Hancocks and try it before I totally nix it, even though I'm not overly fond of pollyester against ds's skin anyway. Luck, Reese

It's a synthetic fabric, and it has the same stay-dry effect as microfleece. Except it feels like suede!
I have made a few diapers with that, and they feel so nice and soft. I had one diaper with that inner and it really does feel dry to the touch even when wet

I know the new one-size pocket diapers made by Wonderoos have a suedecloth inner versus fleece and it's supposed to have the same stay-dry feel of fleece but with more durability, less pilling, etc.

http://www.wonderoos.com

Does anyone know if it has the same problems with eventual repelling like fleece does?

I have an AIO with a suedecloth inner from Dreamboat diapers and it's okay, but I prefer the microfleece. The suedecloth does keep the booty dry, but I've had problems with pilling with mine. No repelling problems, though! Maybe the pills are from washing it with my new hemp fleece inserts and new pilling UBCPFs, though It's worth a try, I love my Dreamboat dipes!!
