I need some help and am hoping someone here might know what is wrong with me. I feel like crap again. :

This is what happens, on average of once a month. I feel like this today and did last Thursday/Friday as well. I wake up feeling like I got NO sleep. I have a headache bordering on a migraine (maybe it is one) and it hurts badly behind my eyes. I feel so tired and can't stop yawning. My stomach usually feels kind of yucky as well; I've noticed that I sometimes have several bowel movements on these days. After this I will sometimes feel instantly better, but not always (not today). I just want to sleep.

So what could be causing this? I am not sleeping well at night because my DS wakes very frequently. I'm not sure this is the only cause though. Any thoughts? Please help me, I feel awful.

Hmmm, I haven't gotten my period back yet pp, but I'm not positive if I'm ovulating or not. I don't think I am yet, but it's possible.

My thoughts when you say it happens every month are a hormone related issue. No advice but maybe you could look into that.

Thanks for the thoughts! I'm not falling into deep sleep I don't think, but I'm not sure if that could be the only reason this is happening. My head and eyes are still killing me, I just want to sleep, but my stomach is feeling a bit better.

If yo don't dream you don't fall into a deep sleep and that is what you need.

Go to bed earlier.

How is your diet? Sugar? White anything? Avoid both.

Yes, I am about to head off to bed now, but it's still a bit late considering my kids get up early. I was hoping my DH would be home by now, but he's working later than I expected.

Anyway, I was thinking of cutting out sugar and caffeine. I don't eat/drink a ton of it, but I do feel like I've had more recently than I normally do. Even if it doesn't stop this strange "sickness," it will be good for me. Other than that though, my diet is pretty sound. Thank you for the suggestion.

Another thing I've been debating is to go dairy and gluten-free because my DS has a few tiny dry patchy areas on his chest that never completely go away. I'm wondering if he is sensitive. He doesn't sleep well at all (well not since 2 months old). I think I may fare well on that diet as well due to past experiences, but am loathe to give up cheese and all wheat products. I'm not sure if that would be related to this either.
