Every time I'm in the kitchen I find myself wiping my hands on my jeans, greasy hand prints on my butt, nice. Or getting something on my shirt, enough is enough!!!! I need to make an apron.

So what is your favorite pattern? Did you make it up yourself?

TIA!

I have a couple that I made out of the backs of DHs jeans- I cut off the butt, sewed a ruffle on the bottom and put a tie through the belt loops. On one of them I added a bib- they work great. I also have a couple that I just made out of panels from the fabric store- those are super simple. I also have a coverall apron out of the Egg Money Quilts book- that one is so great that I made them for MIL and my mom last year!

IMO, aprons are just fun to make up as you go. I just did this one, and the cap, for someone whose niece was Mother Goose in a school play. My dd, who happened to be the same size, is modeling here.

http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...nandhatset.jpg
