I need a bra, what I have is too small. So, a cup size more for me, maybe even a band size? ( need to measure!)

So, what do you buy? A nursing bra? Are there even maternity bras? Just a normal bra? But then what's the point of you won't wear it during the long nursing period ahead....

And what size?

Question after question....give me your input

I wouldn't buy a nursing bra until the month you are due because they tend to be more expensive and your size will likely change more between now and then. I say wear whatever is comfortable. Yes, they have maternity bras, I have one I really like from Motherhood but at this time it's all about comfort

I have their soft cup maternity bra. I am not pregnant and actually still nursing but I really love this bra. I had a hard time finding a soft cup 36D and this one is great and has tons of support.

I had some Bravado nursing bras with my dd that I loved. They are very elasticy and stretched out as I got bigger.

My breasts haven't gotten any bigger, but my ribcage has gone up a size...and I'm carry so high that anything other than a sports bra type digs into the top of my preggo belly. So I just gave up the bras altogether! I do sometimes wear those Old Navy maternity tanks with "built in bra" (basically an extra layer of fabric with some elastic support).

When I am 3-4 weeks from my due date, I'll get measured for nursing bras and buy a few.

I'm loving my Blue Canoe Jane's bras. Since I started wearing them about 2 years ago they have been the most comfortable things. I've used them through pregnancy (on my second with them) and they work great for nursing too. I like how comfortable the ban is, much more so than my Bravado bras.

I, too, bought a Jane's Bra because I haven't worn a bra in many years (I was smaller than an A and never really needed a bra for looks because I do landscaping and I just wear workout tanks with a built in bra). The Jane bra was just what I wanted, something that doesn't feel like a bra. And it is not rigid so it will fit a decent range of sizes, but has a nice amount of support.

I have bought nursing bras with all four of my pregnancies. To me, a maternity bra is a waste of money. I buy them about midway through the pregnancy, so that it fits on the tightest hook. Then, I can loosen it as I grow. This has worked well for me each time and I don't have to spend the money twice.
