I want to make a wrap for my 8wk old ds - i'm using a hug a bub but i'd really like to wear him on my back and the material isn't wide enough to do with a nb.
So please help me.. i can't sew! What sort of material should i get, and how long/wide does it need to be? (If i really need to sew the edges or something then i can get my mum to help me. Good ol mum!)
Also, ds is still fairly new, but he's certainly not little. At 7wks he weighed 6.6kilos (about 14lbs i think) and he's growing fast!! So i guess i need something that'll hold the weight.
TIA! Trish

great directions there for a no-sew wrap (or you can hem the edges if you want it to look more finished).

cotton gauze is a nice material for a DIY wrap. there are suggestions on mamatoto on what kinds of materials you can use
