Range of normal is anywere from just barly there to inches of overhang. Just like a womans genital the variation is as diverse how we look in general.

I think it's all 'normal'. If you mean 'within the bell curve', who knows? It's not been documented or studied. It doesn't really matter, anyway, foreskins are as long as they are, just as labia minora are as long as they are.

Many many different lengths. Just like the labia and clitoral hood also vary very much.

Having never been sexual with a woman I'd have to say I've not seen enough labia to compare :LOL

I'm just wondering as most of the male pics I've seen show some overhang but not as much as ds has. Makes me wonder if ds will have a lot to grow into.

I have an adorable little 4 month old son, and while i dont stare at his penis for extended periods of time ...i do notice that his foreskin appears very long at times (like 1/2 inch or more overhang) and then less than 1/8th inch at other times, depends how long he has been in his dipe, how tight it was (squishes all his little bits together and pulls the loose skin apart, sorta) if he's in the bath, etc...

these are just by sight guesses, I dont actually measure with a ruler or anything

Charlie has a very short foreskin. No overhang at all. It's not even bunched up at the end. Just covers what it needs to cover and that's the end of it. You can actually see the head of his penis at the tip. After my nephew's first circumcision, he STILL had more skin than Charlie does (not now unfortunately. It didn't look enough like his maybe father so they did it again...: )
I am actually a bit glad that Charlie has a short foreskin. It prevents a lot of the penis stupidness. No one wants to retract it (not that I would ever let them) because, well, there isn't much to retract. And Jean, who was not totally convinced that he should not be circumcised (oh she's 8000% against it now) I think had an easier time in the beginning 'accepting' his normal penis because it didn't have a whole lot of overhang.
Growing up seeing only circumcised boys (and I've never seen an adult male naked, with or without a foreskin! )I will admit that copious amounts of overhang are ooky to me. I wouldn't circ a kid even if it hung to his knees, but still. I'm glad Charlie's doesn't!

DS's is like a windsock - quite a bit of overhang
Lately, he's growing into it

DS has a smallish overhang...pretty much enough for it to squinch back together at the end. We went to the beach with my BIL, his GF and her two kids, and her four-year-old ran around naked some of the time...my husband took one look, leaned over, and whispered "It looks like a stringbean!" Which it did - I guess it was similar to polka's "windsock."
