I need a good shampoo! I've tried the Alba (not bad, but my hair is greasy the next day), Avalon Organics (didn't like it at all.. condition doesn't work for me), Whole Foods brand (so-so).

I'm trying to find something that basically doesn't leave my hair greasy the next day, I have fine hair and don't always want to shower every single day!

Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a good shampoo/conditioner too. One salon I went to used MOP (modern organic products) that was sulfate free. I hate buying things on the spot at the salon so I passed (plus any new shampoo is going to be great at first until it builds up.) I'd be interested if anyone had long term success with their products or if there were any known ethical concerns, some bath and bodyworks stores carry it so if they were affiliated at a higher level I'd rather not support them.

I guess that doesn't really help but it might be worth checking out.

I love Nature's Gate. I was using the herbal rainwater shampoo and conditioner, but have switched to one of the fruity ones in the orange bottle. (sorry- I forget which one because I just ran out).

I also love the Body Shop olive oil shampoo...

Okay, "no-pooing" was on my list of "i would never" and "why on earth" UNTIL I had the same problems, finding a safe shampoo and condtioner that I liked and didn't break the bank. I even tried making my own. So in desperation I tired baking soda scrub followed by a vinigar rinse. I'm hooked. I don't even miss my creamy contioner that I swore by becuase of my frizzy prone hair. Got to try it!

I mix lavender EO with white vinigar (A lot of people use apple cidar but I can't cover up that smell!) and put it in a spray bottle, then sprtiz my hair, finger comb and rinse. No stink! I useually spritz while the BS is still in my hair, then I get a good ph balenced clean with a little fizz!

I've used Nature's Gate Rainwater Henna Shampoo and Conditioner before with great success. I really really liked it.

I've used Jason shampoo in the past and its really good if you have oily hair. It doesn't leave a build-up or hair dry as hay.

Most of the time, though, I just use the same shampoo the girls use (California Baby Shampoo). We get it in a large container that lasts for a couple months.

I've tried for 4 years an assortment of natural type products but decided to stick with Biolage shampoo. I do dye my hair so most natural products strip the color (even if they claim they are safe for color treated hair). I'm in the process of growing my hair out to my natural color and then I will try more natural products again.

I use burts bees, rosemary mint shampoo bar.
I have really fine hair too, and it feels nice and full afterwards, but not at all greasy.

We use California baby shampoo. It cleans but doesn't dry it out
