DS #2 was just given a late "welcome to the world" gift of a $30 gc to Babies R Us. I have NO idea what to get. He doesn't need anything, and that is not a place I normally shop anyway. What would you get if you had $30 to spend a BrU?

If I had $30 to spend at BrU, I think I'd probably buy more bibs. Now that DS is teething, he is soaking through 4 bibs a day! I always thought that I had a ton of bibs, but now it seems like I'm always running low.<br><br>
Now that summer is on its way, I would also consider wide-brimmed hats to protect little baby heads.

I'd do that or just hang on to it until a gift-giving occasion and get him something with that gift card.

I think BRU cards are also usable at Toys-R-Us, so if you don't go the bigger clothes route, you could always get toys or games at TRU either for your older child or for the baby when he gets a little older.

We just did that with a BRU gift card we got over the Winter Holidays. We'd been having a hard time finding anything we wanted at BRU. We went during a sale so wound up getting 50 dollars worth of Fisher Price toys ( <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/duck.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Duck">: ) for 10 dollars, tax included. Yay deals and yay my son loving the toys.

We recently needed a neck pillow for ds for the car, and BrU was the only place I could find one (not counting that organic buckwheat one at whole foods for $40). We've also bought door/cabinet latches and other safety-type devices there. But in general I hate the place, too.

wiggles dvds, clothes in bigger sizes, earth's best baby food for when he's older, sposies (if you don't CD), sippy cups, child 'proof'ing stuff...<br><br>
as much as i don't like the store, i can usually find stuff to buy there.
