Just curious. I want to start signing to dd, 8 mos, and was looking at the ASL website that has all the signs, Is the sign for "milk" the best one to use? Is that one easy for baby to catch on to? TIA
We use the ASL sign, but I do it with both hands. ds hasn't started signing back yet, but several of the kids at playgroup use it without any trouble.
We use a revised version of "eat". "Eat" is finger tips together and towards the mouth as if you were putting something in your mouth. We use the index finger by your chin pointing to the mouth. Dd has been using it for four or five months now. She will be one this month. We figured since she will be eating exclusively from me for the first year, that it would be easy to understand.
