I was sick for about a week or so with morning sickness (all day sickness) my nose and lip in a constant curl from stinky smells. Couldn't grocery shop, couldn't eat out. Vomited for past 3 days. Vomited once this morning and now....I feel fine. Not sick at all and I want pizza! I haven't even eaten that much today - a 1/2 peanut sandwich and 4 fishsticks. This morning I was so tired I laid in bed while my daughter played on the floor until at 1PM. Right now, I feel normal, no tummy churning, no hunger, no nausea

I did stop taking my prenatal a little of 24 hours ago - could that be it? I took those before I was pregnant with no problem though. This doesn't mean anything is wrong does it? With my first I was on medication daily, so I don't know if it came or went because I knew if I didn't take it I might vomit 10-15 times that day, so I took it the same time every day.

I think it's normal to feel sick off and on. Also to have aversions to food smells - I remember in my pregnancy we went into a restaurant and I got weak in the knees and ran to the toilet. It was just like a flood over me from smelling the (probably delicious) food cooking.

Why did you stop prenatals, if you don't mind my asking?

I thought it might be contributing to my stomach upset and I kept forgetting to take them I am not sure why because I remember every day when I wasn't pregnant, but I guess the sickness got me out of my morning routine

Makes sense! I find it helps to eat something (a couple crackers or some fruit) a few minutes after I get up and before I take my vits. Or try taking them in the evening when you are feeling better All the best - hopefully you don't have to deal with m/s for too long!

I am a little limited in my options, I am nursing a toddler who is allergic to soy, and I have been unable to find a soy free one. The one I am taking is a special hypoallergenic brand.

Oh...I think I found one - anyone use Megafoods Baby and Me? Anyone have recommendations before I start paying $30 a month for them?

Are you sure it wasn't a bug and not m/s? I'd also be surprised if a prenatal could make you that sick. However you don't need one if you have a balanced diet. The only thing recommended here is a folic acid supplement to the end of the first trimester.

Nope not a bug, I know m/s and it was exactly the same feeling when I had hypermesis, just not as much throwing up, plus it started at 5 1/2 weeks, so I don't know any stomach bug that lasts a week and a half

Both of those contain magnesium stearate which is almost always derived from soy, that is usually what makes my daughter sick when she takes medication.
