I just sent her an email stating that there is a big difference between a Kissaluv and a Fuzzi Bunz.

Shall keep you updated with the response.

I thought it was against Ebay rules to insert unrelated words in your auction to get more search hits?! :

I think this is called "keyword spamming" and yes, it is against the rules. She knows perfectly well the diapers aren't anything alike, I'm sure. It's all to generate hits :-(. Ticks me off, since this is one of the reasons it is sometimes tough to get a quick short-list of stuff you're actually interested in on eBay.

I also emailed her. Now I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt that she was not trying to spam. I just explained the differences between the two diapers I hope she changes it. I'd sure hate for a newbie to think they're getting something they're not. All of the cd choices is confusing at first and they wouldn't know.

I thought she was just not in the know. But to do that on purpose is just mean. What if someone bought those thinking they were like FB

There's no mention that these need a cover for waterproofness (is that a word?). That could be pretty confusing/upsetting for someone unfamiliar with CD expecting something like FB...

:
I noticed that and thought the same thing. I hope it's not on purpose.

As a mom who only uses pocket diapers, I would be very confused. I have never tried kissaluvs, so if I saw that they were like FB, I would assume that meant a pocket diaper requiring no other cover. The only reason I know any different is because of this board and hearing people talk about the various types of dipes.

I hope she changes it, as I would be so disapointed to spend money on something that was so different than what I was expecting.

I e-mailed the seller too. I tried to sound naive and asked if she altered them to make them work like Fuzzi Bunz but still fit like Kissaluvs, even though they look like normal Kissaluvs. I hope she writes me back.

That is very misleading! I've never tried kissaluvs and when I first saw her auction I assumed that they WERE just like FB's. There are a lot of people that "alter the truth" on e-bay and I ended up getting a lot of diapers that I didn't want when I first started cd-ing because of the way the auctions were worded.

I'll e-mail her too.

Nope! Not a word!
It's been almost 12 hours since I emailed her this morning.

Even more disturbing, someone is selling coupons to Toys R Us that are free in the store and expire less then a week after the auction ends. Grrhh... makes me skeptical to use ebay. Someone should start a classified for cloth diapers instead of ebay. Besides how much does ebay make from WAHMs anyway? What do you think is it worth trying?
