Ok. I know the pamphlets all say to test twice a day around 10AM and 7PM (or all the ones I have read so far) but why the heck do I get my darkest line with fmu? Before DD I got better results in the time frame the pamphlet said but now they seems to be almost non existant lines unless I test around 7AM or 10PM. Are these results not accurate because they are not from the right time frame? Or is a + a + no matter what time of day you get it?

When do you guys get your best reading? I test like 3 or 4 times a day purely out of curiosity but I just cant figure out why I would get a good result with fmu when it specifically says not to use fmu.

I do them twice a day. Once with FMU and again about 12 hours later. I ALWAYS get better results with FMU. I think that's true with alot of women.

I usually test just once a day around 2:00pm - 4:00pm, I first read on several sites that around 2pm was considered a very good time with pretty much any time from noon to evening being fine. I find that early afternoon works well for me.

I don't know if FMU is a problem but I did find this online:

"Dangers of using FMU? The balance of LH in your FMU is not correct, meaning the concentration of LH might be un-naturally high, therefore the test could give you a false positive."

Some sites say that for most women surge happens in morning and can take a number of hours to be in enough concentration to show in one's urine, hence the recommendation for afternoon testing...but as we know everyone's body is different!!
